On last night's Thanksgiving edition of The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon and special guest and star of Parks and Recreation Rashida Jones teamed up to deliver a holiday song parody for the ages. Bringing the festive spirit to The Tonight Show set for the show's Thanksgiving night episode, Fallon and Jones turned the 'cheer' setting up to 11 and blasted through a holiday medley of inspired parodies, including songs by Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
"There's nothing more I love than holiday music. It just makes me wanna sing," teased Fallon, before enlisting the help of the Parks and Recreation stunner - and Toy Story 4 writer - Jones to play tribute to Thanksgiving, turduckens, hanukkah, mistletoe, egg nog and Santa Claus.
The pair offered up new holiday versions of Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass", with the chorus becoming "Because you know I'm gonna gain some weight, gain some weight - need sweatpants / I'm gonna gain some weight, gain some weight - need sweatpants"... as the pair held out epically large sweatpants.
They then took on Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" singing "Oh won't you, drink with me? / I hate my, family / They're insane, it's plain to see / So won't you, drink with me?", turned DJ Snake and Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What" into "Turducken For What", whipped out a dreidel for Jason Derulo's "Wiggle" and turned Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" into a parable about Secret Santa gift giving.

Fallon and Jones doing Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj's "Bang Bang" was a particular highlight, with the lyrics becoming: "I've got a special thing I like to drink, when I get thirsty and it's Christmastime / Just take some nutmeg and some cinnamon, and then you mix it up it tastes so fine," all in tribute of egg nog!
Even Frozen's "Let It Go" turned into a paean to mistletoe and kissing because "cold sores never bothered me anyway" and The Roots joined in to send everybody into the holiday season with an amped up version of Pitbull's "Fireball", which primarily concerned a man with "a big red suit / With a sack full of loot / With eight reindeers and a sleigh / Had a big round belly like a bowl full of jelly / And he came around on Christmas day..." Yup. Santa Claus!
As USA Today point out, when it came to the opening number, "we thought for sure they'd call it All About That Baste". A missed opportunity and a shame, really. But their take on Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What" is roughly the greatest thing ever. "Turducken For What?" indeed.
