Xzibit Arrested For DUI On His Wedding Day, Former 'Pimp My Ride' Host Was Pimped To Jail: Rapper Says, Wedding Day "Was Not Tainted By Negative Energy" [PHOTOS]

Looks like Xzibit's new wife will be adding some words to her vows and commitment like, "I will help you in good times, and bad, even when you get arrested," after the rapper was arrested for DUI right after he celebrated his wedding reception.

According to TMZ, Xzibit got married over the weekend in Laguna Beach, CA, where he and his new wife, Krista Joiner, danced the night away and apparently got wasted at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

The 40-year-old, whose real name is Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, was pulled over for speeding when police smelled alcohol and hauled him away to jail.

The former Pimp My Ride host probably had a headache and some pains from the cuffs after realizing that he was in jail Sunday, but at least he managed to take a cute snapshot of himself with his bride before the night ended badly.

After being released from jail, the rapper uploaded photos from his big day and made sure fans knew that his arrest didn't spoil his happy moment.

The former host captioned the cute photo above:

"Yesterday was our wedding day. It was nothing short of amazing. We were surrounded by friends and family and had an outstanding ceremony. It was not tainted by negative energy and I made sure it stayed that way. There was a time I thought I would NEVER get married. I thought that being single was the only way for me, not knowing that I was giving up more of myself to people who didn't care about me or love me unconditionally. I had to do a LOT of growing up and over time came the maturity I needed to be able to make a commitment stronger than anything that I have done in my life outside of being a father to my two beautiful sons."

He adds, "Yesterday, I made my family complete. I had to realize that I am not perfect and I don't always do the right thing, but when I was standing there, watching it all unfold, the only thing I could think about was, I am worthy of being a husband and she deserves the world and the security that comes from being a wife. I have no regrets about my past, the good and the bad. But now,this is my future. My sons needed to see that. They now have an example to reference in life when it comes to being a man and how to treat a real woman when you find her, or in my case where she puts up with your bullshit until you come around..lol. The cake looked yummy and amazing as it was decorated to matched Mrs. Joiner's wedding dress in the next photo.

Besides the arrest, it sure does look like this new complete family had a beautiful day. In the words of Xzibit, "family first" is all that matters.
