Bye 'Nellyville' - Ashanti Has A New Man, Singer Rumored To Be Dating NFL Star DeSean Jackson Again! Will Her Wishes For Privacy Ruin This Relationship Just Like It Ended Things With Nelly?

It looks like Ashanti has a new man- well sort of. According to MediaTakeOut, the singer is back with her on-again, off-again NFL beau, DeSean Jackson.

The Washington Post reported that the singer and the Washington Redskins celebrated Jackson's 28th birthday last Friday at STK in Washington DC.

The couple were spotted with about 20 people as they wined and dined, celebrating Jackson's special occasion. Ashanti was reportedly wearing a black dress with fur, as Jackson wore jeans and a black tee.

STK Washington DC also tweeted that the celebrity couple were at the restaurant last week.

Ashanti was known for dating Nellyville star, Nelly for over nine years. The couple ended things back in December 2012. Ashanti claims that part of their split was her fault.

"A lot of that was me. I'm very, 'I don't like to have my stuff on blast.'

"As a woman, when a man is out doing their thing, a woman is not taking everything so serious, even though the guy might be like, 'I'm serious,'" Ashanti previously said. 

"He was very, very genuine and very, very sincere. I will give him that. From the start, I was leery," the singer added.

Nelly sort of agreed with his ex and said, "Me and her relationship is definitely not one that is, I would probably say, normal. Even when we were together, it wasn't normal."

It seems that Ashanti is still wanting privacy when it comes to relationships, because she has never confirmed if she is dating Desean Jackson. Her wishes is what seemed to push rapper, Nelly away: "I've always been comfortable with being public with my relationships. Those situations of being private was basically [Ashanti]."

Nelly is currently dating Floyd Mayweather's ex-girlfriend, Miss Shantel Jackson.
