Just a few months ago, we were saddened to report the news that writer and director Cary Fukunaga had decided to leave Stephen King's It movie remake project based on the novel about the scary clown named Pennywise. He had been working on the film for a number of years and even decided to cast actor Will Poulter in the iconic role of the killer clown, but disagreements with New Line Cinema studios forced the True Detective episodes director out.
