Looks like Kate Middleton won't be the only royal welcoming another child into the world in 2015, MStars News has learned that Princess Madeleine of Sweden is pregnant with her second child 10 months after giving birth to her daughter Princess Leonore.
According to Us Weekly, Princess Madeleine revealed the wonderful news via Facebook last week.
"We are very happy and look forward to welcoming a new member to our family," the princess and her British-American banker husband Christopher O'Neill, 40, announced to social media followers.
The statement read:
"Princess Madeleine and Mr. Christopher O'Neill are delighted to announce that The Princess is expecting their second child."
As Princess Madeleine says, "It makes me so happy to share the wonderful news that Chris and I are expecting our second child!"
The second-time-around parents had their first child, a baby girl in February. Princess Leonore is fifth in line to the throne.
Madeleine is the second daughter and the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. She married O'Neill on June 8, 2013, at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm.
Madeleine was previously engaged to Swedish lawyer Jonas Bergström in 2009. The wedding was canceled in April 2010.
Madeleine then moved to New York City, where she met her now-husband, as they made their relationship public in January 2011. Engagement new was made public in October 2012.
After O'Neill and Madeleine were married, O'Neill said, "The sweetest feeling now that we are married is that we really are a team. It really brings a special bond."
Congrats on the wonderful news!
