Big Eyes director Tim Burton and his ex-partner, actress Helena Bonham Carter, were spotted out and about in London on Christmas Day, amid rumors that Johnny Depp's BFF is the case behind the split and is now dating a 39-year-old production assistant named Berenice Percival. Burton and Bonham-Carter never married, but lived together in London and have two children, Billy, 11, and Nell, 6, with the family spending Christmas together.
The New York Daily News reported that the pair were out and about with their kids on Christmas, going out for lunch near their shared him in North London. As reported by Mstars News, the pair split earlier this year, with a rep telling People Magazine "Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter separated amicably earlier this year and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children."
As The New York Daily News says, "That was quite apparent as they appeared to be on good terms and in the holiday spirit as they walked side-by-side, holding bags and bundled up in the cold London weather after having lunch with their kids."

The Daily Mirror reports that the couple have been separated for the past year and have "both reportedly been dating other people."
"During this time," adds The Daily Mirror, "it's thought Tim has grown close to production assistant Berenice Percival."
The story goes on to explains that the 39 year old production assistant Berenice has worked on films that featured both Burton and Bonham-Carter including Sweeney Todd and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Allegedly they were "introduced by members of Johnny Depp's support team."
The Daily Mirror report a mysterious 'source' telling them that "Berenice is telling friends that they're happy, in love and that she sees a future with Tim."
The 'soruce' added: "He has been caring and a lovely father figure to her son. She refers to Tim as her boyfriend."
Burton's new film Big Eyes - which, for once, doesn't star either Depp or Bonham-Carter - is out now. Check out the trailer for it below.
