It's official –– Dave Matthews is nearing 50-years-old. Not that that's a bad thing, of course. The musician turns 48 today (Friday, Jan. 9), just a week or so after announcing that the Dave Matthews Band 2015 tour schedule will soon be released – which has fans (including a certain writer at MStars News) uber excited. While the famed "Space Between" singer is nearing half-a-decade on this grand planet, he hasn't lost his childish side. Which appears obvious from a recently released "slap fight" video between him and Rockbridge Guitar Company head honcho Brian Calhoun.
Via the band's Instagram account, the group unleashed a black and white photo of Matthews in concert holding not only his guitar but also an incredibly big smile. Alongside the photo was the caption, "Please join us in wishing Dave Matthews a very Happy Birthday!"
Judging from the over 12,000 likes the photo has garnered, it's safe to say that fans had no problem joining in on the celebration.
