The highly anticipated free-running zombie horror survival video game, Dying Light, hits shelves tomorrow, Jan. 27, 2015, but today we're excited to share with you the first 15 minutes of gameplay! That's right; you can watch the opening moments of the title before its official release date for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Thanks to IGN, we can see some spoiler-free footage of the highly anticipated game early!

The video game and entertainment website is covering a lot of Dying Light material today in order to prepare everyone for the release this week. According to the new footage, you should watch the following video to:

"Find out more about the virus that has decimated civilization. Meet Dr Zere, the scientist who has a plan to save humanity, and learn about his gruesome experiments. Meet Spike, one of the leaders of the resistance. Learn how rigging traps helps you prepare for sundown. See the advantages of free-running and how the environment can be used to put distance between you and the zombie horde."

Basically, this is a great way to get a taste of what's to come in Dying Light. The highly anticipated game takes on zombie survival on a whole new level, and we have a pretty good idea of what that is thanks to this video. With free-running added to the idea of surviving a zombie outbreak, the world opens up for gamers. Also, adding in the element of more dangerous creatures coming out at night makes the gaming even more stressful and engaging.
