FX's 'Justified' Season 6 Recap: 'Sounding': Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins Search For Ava Crowder!

Based on the popular crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX with an all-new episode. Will Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) risk their lives for Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter) in 'Sounding?'

Stuck in traffic, Ava listens to Boyd as he endlessly talks about his new plan and getting back at Avery Markham (Sam Elliott). Ava warns Boyd is trying to poke the bear but he doesn't listen. Hiding in the woods, Raylan discovers from the highway patrolmen that Ava is on edge.  

In front of her grandkids, Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) and Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen) discuss killing Ava. Boyd puts an engagement ring  back on Ava's finger again. Losing her mind, Ava tells Raylan she wants to meet at the graveyard.  

While Duffy is playing Scarbble with his bodyguard, Raylan discovers Ava is late to their meeting. He then calls Constable Bob Sweeney (Patton Oswalt) to find her. Ava has actually gone to Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson) and asks his help to make her escape. For money, Limehouse raises his hat and orders one of his men to get a car for her. 

Boyd and his men are still planning to break into the vault. Avery meets with Ty Walker (Garret Dillahunt) and his paramilitary men at their pizza place. Avery wants to two different methods to deal with Boyd and Raylan. Boyd meets with Zachariah Randolph (Jeff Fahey), Ava's uncle, who can possibly help out with their heist.

Bob spots Ava and tells Raylan where she's heading off to. Duffy meets with Albert Fekus (Danny Strong) and asks about what happened in the prison. Duffy hears out Albert's story but doesn't believe him. Rachel (Erica Tazel) and Tim (Jacob Pitts) are in the other room as Albert is being tortured on video. After Albert howls in pain, Duffy realizes he doesn't know anything.

Ava doesn't have any luck ditching Limehouse's right hand man, who wants the money she doesn't have. To get Ava out of the situation, Raylan asks Bob to distract Limehouse's man so that he can get to her. In their confrontation, Bob ends up tasering Limehouse's man and knocks him out.

While Raylan yells at Ava, Zachariah shows Boyd how to break into the vault through underground tunnels. Boyd's men accidentally light the methane and cause an explosion. Walker's boys arrive at Calhoun Schrier and accidentally kill him.

Back at home, Ava wants money and a fresh start to leave Harlan County. In tears, Ava ends up kissing Raylan, but their intimate moment is interrupted by a phone call.
