'Marvel's Agent Carter' Spoilers: Will Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter Save Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark? [WATCH]

The countdown has begun as Marvel's Agent Carter has only 1 episode left on ABC. Before Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper)'s fate is finally decided, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) seek revenge against Leviathan for what they did to Chief Roger Dooley (Shea Whigham)?

In our first recap, Peggy (Atwell) was seen as a hero as she fought bravely in World War II, but her co-workers at the Strategic Scientific Reserve think she's a complete joke. Framed for crimes he didn't commit, Howard Stark (Cooper) needs Peggy to clear his name after his inventions, which he calls "bad babies," have been stolen.

In our recent recap, Ivanchenko had hypnotized Roger (Whigham) and strapped a bomb to his chest. Carter couldn't stop Roger as he grabbed a gun, ran across the room, and jumped to his death. While SSR headquarters felt the shockwave of the bomb explosion, Ivanchenko unleashed Starks' nerve gas, which killed every moviegoer in the theater. Before Roger died, Peggy promised she would do whatever it takes to put down Leviathan.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Michele Fazekas reveals Peggy will go one-on-one against Dottie (Bridget Regan). In order to stop Leviathan, Stark (Cooper) has to get involved and might have to sacrifice himself.

Fazekas reveals Stark's involvement, "He actually puts himself at risk in the finale. Despite the fact that he's a confident guy and an arrogant guy, he has a lot of guilt about his involvement in all of this. He will actually put himself at risk, but you will still see him doing things that are self-serving. His resolution in the last episode is also tied in with Peggy's resolution for her whole personal arc for the season."

Fazekas teases the ending, "There are a couple of things that are very nicely resolved in both the case and Peggy's personal life, but there are loose ends that are very obvious that could play in future seasons."
