'RHOBH' Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin Divorce Rumors: 'Glee' Star Almost Split From Wife for Joining Bravo Series [VIDEO]

Lisa Rinna has definitely been a lightening rod on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill, but she is revealing today that her role on the series almost didn't happen. Turns out when the former Melrose Place star was first in negotiations for a role on the series, her husband Harry Hamlin told her that if she went through with it that he would divorce her.

While Lisa is a new addition to the series, it feels like she had been with the show all along, and we don't want to imagine RHOBH without her. However, according to E! News, Hamlin was not so supportive of his wife's new job at first.

During an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, Rinna explained how she agreed to do the gig and how it almost cost her the love of her life and her marriage.

"I went to Harry and said I'm think about [doing RHOBH] and he looked at me and said, 'If you do this show, I'll divorce you," the star explained on the morning talk show. "I walked away and was done with it. Actually, I was done with the show idea."

It seems that what allowed Rinna to keep both her marriage of 18-years intact and gain a starring role on the show, was her hubby's ultimate change of heart.

"He comes to me a day later and goes- and you've meet him, he's very mellow, very low-key, and he said, 'I've though about this and I think it'll be a good idea if you did it.' He went through it. And I was like 'Ok.' And there you are!" the starlet said.

Fans have even got to see the Glee guest star appear on the series from time-to-time.
