After years and years of trying to get the Deadpool movie made, we can officially confirm that the comic book film adaptation starring Ryan Reynolds has started filming this week. Along with Reynolds, stars T.J. Miller and Morena Baccarin have taken to Twitter to share some on-set photos, thus confirming that production has begun on 2016's Tim Miller-directed movie. Plus, we have confirmation on two rumored characters, including Copycat, a.k.a. Vanessa Carlyle, and a fan photo with costar Gina Carano! Check out all of this news below!

We recently reported on the news that T.J. Miller of Silicon Valley revealed his character in the new Deadpool movie earlier this week on Twitter. According to EmpireOnline, he officially announced that the Weasel rumors were true on the social media website later in the week. Check out his tweet right here:

Vanessa Carlyle is also the mutant that goes by the name Copycat. You can think of X-Men star Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, but she's in love with Wade Wilson (via Gamma Squad). The two date, but the relationship ends when he is diagnosed with cancer and then has to go through the Weapon X program that Wolverine did. This turns him into Deadpool, and thus the story truly begins. With this in mind, did we just learn the plot details of the script? Will this be an origin-type story?
