After the devastating news (depending on your level of fanaticism for 1D) broke this week, announcing that Zayn Malik had quit One Direction, fans shared some reactions on Twitter, ranging from pure sadness to dangerously suicidal. Just a few days later, the remaining members of the world's biggest boy band have also taken to the social media platform to share some words with fans. The tweets from Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson range make us doubt the breakup rumors we've been hearing for some time, but really just have us feeling bad for a group of friends that lost a key piece to the puzzle.

As Rolling Stone points out, the members took to Twitter separately to address the news. While Harry and Liam kept things brief, Niall and Louis went into a little more detail in order to help fans understand that One Direction is still moving forward.
