No one better to play a housewife then, well, a housewife. While Ryan Murphy's new series American Crime Story is getting ready to film its first season, which is based around the courtroom drama that took place in the O.J. Simpson murder trial, it looks like the producers have found the perfect person to play Kris Jenner. When it came to casting for the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star, Murphy looked at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie and veteran soap actress Lisa Rinna to portray Kim K's momma.
According to Radar Online, the news broke today that Lisa will be joining the already impressive cast, which includes Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr. and John Travola.
"Producers believe that Lisa is perfect to play the part of Kris in the cable production," a source explained to the news site.

Lisa brought the comedy to the fifth season of RHOBH, but she will have to get even campier, as, according to the National ENQUIRER on stands now, the role will be poking fun at Kris and her family's rise to fame.
"The current plan is to turn the Kardashian family segments into high camp comedy, with winking references to their current fame," the insider explained. "Lisa will only appear in two or three episodes, but the producers want the publicity that will come from hiring Lisa to camp up Kris' role in the O.J. saga!"
In related news, the series already has a tie to RHOBH as Faye Resnick, who is Kyle Richards' bestie and has appeared on the series, was part of the trial. According to Wetpaint, Connie Britton is taking on the role of the former Bravo guest star.
