'True Detective' Season 2 Trailer, HBO Cast Photos [SPOILERS] Crime, Violence & More Revealed

Season 2 of HBO's hit crime anthology series True Detective from creator Nic Pizzolatto premieres June 21, 2015, and this week we have a brand new one-minute trailer to share with you. Unlike the amazing first teaser that debuted earlier this year, this new trailer features dialogue, new footage and some revealing information on plot details and possible spoilers. Watch this new video below and check out some new photos of cast members Vince Vaughn (above), Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Taylor Kitsch!

Though we loved the first teaser preview for the new season of this hit series, it didn't provide us with enough to go on for the new episodes. This time around, HBO shared a new trailer full of scenes from the new season and we even get to hear some dialogue! We learn that these characters (three police and one criminal) are brought together to deal with something much bigger than them.

Here is an official synopsis of the upcoming episodes (via Slash Film):

A bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a career criminal, each of whom must navigate a web of conspiracy and betrayal in the scorched landscapes of California. Colin Farrell is Ray Velcoro, a compromised detective in the all-industrial City of Vinci, LA County. Vince Vaughn plays Frank Semyon, a criminal and entrepreneur in danger of losing his life's work, while his wife and closest ally (Kelly Reilly), struggles with his choices and her own. Rachel McAdams is Ani Bezzerides, a Ventura County Sheriff's detective often at odds with the system she serves, while Taylor Kitsch plays Paul Woodrugh, a war veteran and motorcycle cop for the California Highway Patrol who discovers a crime scene which triggers an investigation involving three law enforcement groups, multiple criminal collusions, and billions of dollars.
