5 Reasons Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple In 'Marvel's Daredevil' Season 2 On Netflix Excites Us!

Audiences have been eagerly binge-watching Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix. With the recent casting announcement for Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil, will Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) find himself in need of rescue again from Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), who could be on her way to becoming Night Nurse?

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be the blind lawyer attending courtroom cases. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice as he protects Hell's Kitchen from Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).

We have 5 reasons we're excited for Claire Temple (Dawson)'s return in Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil:

5) Best Part Of Season One!

As we previously mentioned, the Death Proof actress will reprise her role in the second season. In her larger contract, Dawson will also appear in Marvel's other upcoming Netflix series. During the first season, the 25th Hour actress proved Temple to be smart, funny with her comeback lines, and tough enough to go up against Fisk's gangsters.

4) She Can Take Care of Herself!

During In the Blood, even though she was kidnapped, Claire managed to tackle one of her attackers, while she was being rescued by the man without fear. In World On Fire and Condemned, Claire and Murdock had to deal with Fisk (D'Onofrio) blowing up half of Hell's Kitchen. Thinking of others, Claire returned back to the hospital, even though she was bruised up, and took care of the patients involved in the fiery wreckage.

3) More Interactions!

In Nelson v. Murdock, Foggy (Elden Henson) mentioned in dialogue he met with Claire, but we didn't actually see them together in the same scene. I hope in the upcoming Season 2, we get to see Temple interact with Foggy and Karen Page. We loved Deborah Ann Woll in the first season; so we're excited to see the True Blood actress share a scene with the Sin City actress.

2) Luke Cage Crossover?

In the Marvel Comics mythology, Claire Temple is the romantic interest of Luke Cage. Night Nurse takes care of the costumed superheroes when they can't go to a regular hospital. With these two characters amalgamated, it would make sense if we saw Dawson's Claire Temple and Mike Colter's Luke Cage interact with each other. Crossing our fingers for Claire to show up in Marvel's Luke Cage!

1) Night Nurse In Costume?

In our recaps of Season 1, Claire became romantically entangled with Matt after she stitched up his wounds. During her introduction in Cut Man, Claire was wearing a white hoodie and covered her face in front of the hit-man. During that rooftop scene, didn't she look like the costumed superhero, Moon Knight? It looked homemade and grounded like Daredevil's costume. It would be very awesome if she got her own outfit too.
