Right after the May 15, 2015 release date for the highly anticipated film, Mad Max: Fury Road, director George Miller has joined Twitter to announce more movies! The acclaimed filmmaker used his first tweet to let everyone know that more madness is on the way, which makes sense because Tom Hardy is signed on to portray the character in more projects. Check out what Miller had to say on Twitter right here (via Gamma Squad):
Hello Twitter! Thanks for all the kind words written and said about the film. We had a lot of fun making it..and there's more Max to come.

While speaking with MTV News' Josh Horowitz on his podcast "Happy Sad Confused," Miller revealed that he had two more stories for films that he has turned into Warner Bros. Considering the hype around this recently released film, we're most likely going to see these new movies soon.
Miller explained that one of his new stories takes place over the span of one year while the other takes place over the course of several years. Fury Road took place in three days, so you know we're in for a wild ride!
So what can we expect from more Mad Max? Will Charlize Theron return to reprise her role as Furiosa in more movies? A past interview with Esquire has us thinking this might be difficult.
Speaking with the magazine, Theron revealed that filming with Hardy wasn't the best experience.
"We f*ckin' went at it, yeah. And on other days, he and George [Miller, the director] went at it," she said in the interview last month. "It was the isolation, and the fact that we were stuck in a rig for the entire shoot. We shot a war movie on a moving truck - there's very little green screen. It was like a family road trip that just never went anywhere. We never got anywhere. We just drove. We drove into nothingness, and that was maddening sometimes. And it's material that's really frightening - we didn't have a script. Tom and I are actors who take our jobs seriously. Both of us want to please the directors we work with, and when you don't know if you can deliver on that, it's a frightening place to be - and for Tom more than me, because he was stepping into big shoes."
