After receiving critical acclaim for her most recent starring role as a sexy A.I. in Alex Garland's directorial debut, Ex Machina, Vikander is reportedly receiving a number of calls and inquiries about new roles in upcoming projects. Perhaps the most inviting for her is Assassin's Creed, which happens to be produced by her current boyfriend, Michael Fassbender. We're assuming she might be favoring this project.
According to a new report from Deadline, Vikander has dropped out of the Tom Hanks movie project The Circle due to other prospects opening up, causing problems with filming schedules. Emma Watson has reportedly replaced her on this project, but now Vikander is rumored to star in AC and the upcoming Bourne project from director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon.
None of this information or casting news has been confirmed, but we're getting this report from a trusted, connected source, so this is likely what's going down with Viaknder and her movie projects.
Vikander and Fassbender can next be seen in director Derek Cianfrance's The Light Between the Oceans, according to Slash Film.
