After the 2014 crash that left Tracy Morgan crippled, the comedian and Walmart finally settled on an agreement last Wednesday. This is according to Morgan's attorney, Benedict P. Morelli. The terms and conditions of the lawsuit regarding Morgan and the other comics injured in the crash will not be made public though.

Walmart's U.S. President, Greg Foran released a statement on the settlement. He says the company will comply with those injured in the crash any way they can.

"Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone that was involved in the accident," Foran said. "While we know there is nothing that can change what happened, Walmart has been committed to doing what's right to help ensure the well-being of all of those who were impacted by the accident."

Foran then went on to apologize to those injured in the crash in the statement. Morelli released a statement of his own after Walmart released theirs. According to him, he and Walmart worked around the clock to ensure his clients were properly compensated.

"Walmart and I worked diligently to reach this settlement for the plaintiffs and their families," the attorney stated. "Walmart took full responsibility for the accident, which we greatly appreciate."

The accident, which nearly killed Morgan, took place on the morning of June 7, 2014. That morning, Morgan and three other comedians were struck from behind by a Walmart tractor-trailer. This in turn caused a chain reaction crash on the New Jersey Turnpike near Cranbury. The crew was said to have been travelling back from the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware for their Turn it Funny tour. The crash killed comedian James McNair and severely injured the others. Morgan was taken by helicopter to a hospital and was treated for a broken leg, femur, nose and ribs.

Do you think Walmart could ever properly compensate Morgan?
