Meanwhile, Crew coach Gregg Berhalter shared his excitement with the media regarding today's match.

"I think against the Galaxy, it's going to be an opponent that really wants to play soccer and I think it's going to be a good game, a fun game," the coach said, according to the team's official website. "I think it's going to be great for the spectators and it's going to be two teams that are attacking. We're excited to play in front of a full house. When we play in front of a lot of fans, the atmosphere is incredible. So we really enjoy that."
