PlayStation Confirms 'Last Guardian' Release Date News: Shares PS4 Gameplay Trailer at E3 2015

While Bethesda definitely blew us all out of the water on the first night of the 2015 E3 Expo with its conference showing off Fallout 4 gameplay footage, we think that Sony could have possibly topped this year's expo with confirming and sharing PlayStation 4 gameplay footage of The Last Guardian. Yes, this game had previously been teased, cancelled and rumored to show up this week at the conference, and now we have the proof and a release date window!! Not only was this one of the biggest games announced at the Sony conference this week, but it was the first! Plus, it was so much more than just confirming that the project wasn't dead. We got a great glimpse at the highly anticipated gameplay featuring the mystical creature and his little boy companion that we've been thinking about for years!

The magic of the first gameplay footage is still present, but multiplied thanks to better graphics and details that are prevalent throughout this E3 video. We get to see some first-hand adventure in this new footage, complete with suspense, adoration and the love that these characters feel. Honestly, you might gasp out loud during this short video!

We know that this footage will have you excited about this title, so we're happy to announce that it will hit shelves next year! 2016 will be the true resurrection of this title.
