As we previously reported, the chances of either of these two streaming companies taking on the next season of the show were slim, but still possible. Netflix was a stretch, though Fuller had recently talked about the popular service showing great interest in making more episodes of Hannibal. Considering the series has a deal with Amazon though, we weren't holding our breath on a totally new contract with Netflix. Plus, Amazon's involvement with the show was through NBC, so a continuation wasn't too likely. We learned this week that we were right to be cautious in getting our hopes up.
