If you're following the news and drama surrounding the recently cancelled NBC horror TV series Hannibal and the campaign to save its season four episodes and general future, we have a major setback to share with you this week. According to a Twitter conversation with the show's creator, Bryan Fuller, both Netflix and Amazon have passed on possibly producing more episodes of the Dr. Lecter series. Though these two streaming services were the favorites for saving Hannibal, Fuller has told viewers and fans of the show that there is still hope for another season and possibly a movie! We're all still reeling from the news that broke earlier this week, announcing that NBC has pulled the plug on Hannibal, which has officially been cancelled in the early stages of season three, but with each passing day we hear rumors of other platforms that can save season four. The series has always suffered from low ratings and viewership, so we understand why the network closed shop on the Lecter series, but we're not ready to accept the end of the entire show. Luckily for us, there are other avenues for new episodes and creator Bryan Fuller says popular streaming services Amazon and Netflix are both interested in giving Hannibal new life.
