Nina Dobrev & Boyfriend Austin Stowell Vacation: She's Over 'TVD' Ex Ian Somerhalder

Ian Somerhalder proved that he could bounce back from his relationship with Nina Dobrev, as The Vampire Diaries star wed Nikki Reed earlier this year, but now it is Dobrev's turn to prove that she is officially over her former lover. The star took to her Instagram account over the weekend to post pictures and videos from her amazing St. Tropez vacation with her new boyfriend Austin Stowell. The 26-year-old and her boy toy spent some time on a yacht that came complete with a water slide that Dobrev was sure to post on her social media site.

The 26-year-old actress showed fans her fun side by posting a video of herself going down the huge boat slide backwards.

"Here's to never growing up! Bye Felicia," the star wrote under the video.

Daily Mail also posted some pictures from the couples fun trip, where they reported that the pair spent the weekend hanging out in the water enjoying some jet ski rides and some cute PDA.

This is Dobrev's first serious romance since splitting from her ex, and it seems that she is completely over her ex and head over heels with her new beau.

While it has been speculated that there was some bad blood between Dobrev and Somerhalder, the star has previously reported that she had nothing but love for her former co-star, even after their split.

"I've said this before, that we didn't break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn't love or friendship," Dobrev explained, according to Us Weekly. "I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he's great and I care about him. And that didn't change. Yes, we're professional and that's fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now."
