CW's 'The Flash' Cast: Grant Gustin's Barry Allen Wins At 2015 Teen Choice Awards!

Before Season 2 gets underway, the CW network's very own The Flash took the stage at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. After putting on the scarlet speedster costume for the first season, viewers were truly impressed by Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) as he raced home his own award.

In our first season recap, Barry Allen as he awake from his coma, after being struck by lightning. Given super-speed powers, Barry belonged to small group of friends, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), who know his secret identity. They worked together against super villains, including Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and teaming with the Arrow (Stephen Amell). But they never realized their true enemy was lurking within them, the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

As we previously mentioned, the first wave of nominees came out for the Teen Choice Awards, which is fully voted on by the fans. Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) had been nominated for Choice TV Actress: Sci-fi/Fantasy. The Time Lapse actress was in competition with Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow) and Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries).

According to Variety, the former Glee actor took home an award for Choice TV: Breakout Star. Justin was up against his own co-star Candice Patton (the future Iris West-Allen). He managed to hold his own against Jussie Smolett and Yazz as Empire managed to take the industry by storm.

Though she didn't win the Choice TV actress for Sc-fi/Fantasy (which went to Nina Dobrev for her final season in Vampire Diaries), Panabaker is still #1 to her fans. Wait till you get to see Caitlin Snow as Killer Frost this season.

Season One of The Flash arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22, 2015. The Flash returns for Season 2 on Tuesday, October. 6, at 8/7c.
