The Flash Season 2 Spoilers: Grant Gustin/Barry Allen & Keiynan Lonsdale/Wally West's Secret?

With the first season cliffhanger leaving audiences hanging, the CW network has released an-all new promo for Season 2 of The Flash. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) discover the "mysterious secret" behind newcomer Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) aka Kid Flash?

In our first season recap, Barry Allen as he awake from his coma, after being struck by lightning. Given super-speed powers, Barry belonged to small group of friends, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), who know his secret identity. They worked together against super villains, including Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and teaming with the Arrow (Stephen Amell). But they never realized their true enemy was lurking within them, the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

In an interview with The Wrap, Lonsdale reveals how Wally will be connection to Iris West (Candice Patton), "Everything has been kept under wraps, even to me, which I think is really cool. Since watching the show I've become a massive fan, so when I found out I got the part, one part of me was like "oh but now I'm going to know all the spoilers and stuff, I don't want to know that!" [laughs] But yeah, they haven't even told me the exact details yet in terms of the relation to Iris or how exactly Wally is going to be connected into the storyline and how he'll weave through the different storylines, so I'm not really sure. But I'm sure I'll find out soon. It's going to be a hard secret to keep!

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Gabrielle Stanton is keeping quiet on details about how Kid Flash will be introduced into the superhero drama., Stanton hints that there will be "a very interesting and close relationship" between the newbie, Barry and the rest of the speedster's team.

Season One ofThe Flash arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22, 2015. The Flash returns for Season 2 on Tuesday, October. 6, at 8/7c.
