After being named "Director of Football Development" by Adidas, rapper Snoop Dogg expressed his unhappiness with the company via Instagram and hinted at potentially leaving them for Under Armour.
According to USA Today, back in May, Snoop was named Adidas' "Director of Football Development," and in August he became the "Director of Football Recruiting," but in a recent Instagram post, Snoop has revealed his relationship with Adidas may not be as good as it seems.
In the Instagram post, which he later amended, Snoop posted a photo of Deion Sanders on the Pittsburgh Steelers' field on Thursday night during their match against Baltimore Ravens, pointing to the team's logo on the field. As reported by Baller Status, the photo was originally captioned, "Prime give me a holla about under armour. Adidas keep playing games with me and my football league time to make a boss move. Free agent style. Hit me up family."

According to Sole Collector, Pro Football Hall-of-Famer, Sanders, originally had a deal with Nike, but left Nike (due to the fact that they refused to pay him his royalties for helping with the designing of a certain sneaker) for Under Armour. Sanders has been working with Under Armour for a few years now, so Snoop reaching out to Sanders for a potential deal makes sense.
Now, why Snoop decided to publicly make the announcement and later amend the caption of the post is fairly unclear. Maybe Snoop's trying to scare Adidas into giving him what he wants; maybe he was just trying to let them know who's really in charge. Or maybe Snoop really does want out. Regardless of the reason behind the post, Snoop is clearly not taking any more nonsense from Adidas.
But the question still stands: Does Under Armour have a place for Snoop? There's no doubt that Snoop would be a great addition to the UA family, since Snoop could definitely help UA with its sportswear/streetwear line, but would UA have what Snoop is looking for? Guess only time will tell.
