Viewers of CNN found themselves a bit nervous early Monday morning when Poppy Harlow passed out during a live broadcast. The anchor quickly returned and explained that she "got a little hot" and fainted for a mere moment.
Either that, or we're guessing Harlow is still feeling the wrath of the sugar coma that oftentimes comes from Christmas Day (and weekend) desserts.
While discussing a new poll regarding how Americans feel the Obama administration is doing in fighting the ever-so-ongoing war on terror – which, by the way, 74% are reportedly not satisfied with how the administration is doing, per CNN – Harlow's speech can be heard slowing down. She ultimately begins slurring her words, soon transitioning to a deep, heavy breathing, and ultimately, silence.
Which immediately caused some panic on Twitter.
Frightening moment on live TV. Anchor #PoppyHarlow slurs words, passes out. No word @CNN on her condition; fans very concerned. #CNN

What just happened to @PoppyHarlowCNN on @CNN his morning?? Didn't sound good. Hope she's ok! — D. Williamson (@derwentw) December 28, 2015
Harlow soon came back from faint, telling viewers, "For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I'm okay, thank you so much. I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine."
She also responded via Twitter, relaying a similar message.
Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team.
