As Comedy Central's The Colbert Report winds down its days – setting up to end next Thursday, Dec. 18 – it's been a wonder as to when Late Show host David Letterman will end his late night show and let Stephen Colbert head on over to the Ed Sullivan Theater. Well, now the date has been announced ... and viewers around the world are finding themselves coming to terms with the fact that the iconic comedian will soon be off the air. Kathy Griffin is settling into her new role as the host of E!'s "Fashion Police," taking over from the dearly departed Joan Rivers and wasting no time in letting celebrities know they're on watch. Taking on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last night, the actor/comedian set her sights on Britney Spears, Anderson Cooper and Ryan Seacrest, as well as host Kimmel. As reported by "MStars News," after comedy legend Rivers died in September, Griffin will take over as host when Fashion Police returns for the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. "I understand I have some very large shoes to fill," explained Griffin of the new role, "so in her honor I will not be holding back." "I will be giving no passes," the red-haired host warned. "I am going to let people have it, I'm going to bring the hammer down." She then proceeded to deliver a fashion rebuke to Kimmel worthy of "Fashion Police," calling out the host's attire, saying "... and you ... might want to up your game," she directed at the man behind the desk. "I'm tired of the same suit every time. I get it: it's Gucci. It fits well ... yawn." "Give me some sparkle," she added. "Give me a fig leaf. Take a risk for God's sake. We all remember what went down with former dancer and aspiring model Sara X this past October, right? Yes, the famous boob-twerk video seen around the interview that showed the sexy tattooed model shaking her breasts to the famed Mozart classic, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. Well, being that this is the holiday season – and giving is most important this time of year – Sara X is back with a “Jingle Bells” parody … aptly titled “Jingle Boobs.” Yep, this is happening. Fans of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm have been pining for more of the famed comedy series since Season 8 ended back in 2011. Unfortunately, nothing has been done, especially when it was announced that creator Larry David was putting on his own Broadway show in New York City titled Fish in the Dark. While we can see him there when the show opens up in earlier 2015, the rest of the cast have been left to fend for themselves… which obviously hasn’t been a big deal considering they’re all wonderfully talented people. One Curb standout, J.B. Smoove – who came onto the series in Season 6 as Leon Black and totally rocked the series into a new level – has been having quite a bit of fun. "Top Five," Chris Rock's new movie that he wrote and directed and stars in — is all about lists. So who are Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon's top five rappers of all time in 2014? The answers are surprising, to say the least, and alongside illustrious names like Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Kanye West, there are also a couple of not-so-famous names. Appearing on "The Tonight Show" last night, Dec. 8, Rock challenged Fallon to offer up his top five rappers of all time, and Fallon, for once in his life, seemed somewhat put on the spot. While fans might be extremely excited for the return of E!'s hit series, Fashion Police, it seems that one of the panelists is not too happy about the addition of Kathy Griffin, or more specifically, the comedienne's salary. Kelly Osbourne who has been outspoken about how different the show will be now that Joan River's is gone, even questioned her own return to the series. As The Colbert Report is winding down its days on Comedy Central, the host is inviting in a slew of surprising and powerful guests. Last night’s episode was held in Washington D.C., and of course, he had to have the United States Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama, in the guest chair. And actually, he also had him in his own seat as well! Yes, the President stepped onto the Colbert Report stage not just for an interview with the soon-to-be Late Show host – as Colbert was announced David Letterman’s replacement – but also to take over the host’s “THE WORD” segment.
