Jon Stewart will end his hosting duties of Comedy Central's The Daily Show on Aug. 6, 2015, and this week we learned of one of his projects he has going on for him after he departs. At the end of 22 Jump Street we saw a few fake trailers put in place to take a dig at the movie industry's love for sequels. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill's characters went to medical school, culinary school and then a ninja academy. In honor of that ending, the Jump Street franchise has not only decided to make one, but they are working on three separate sequels. You'd think that after spending so much time on the air, David Letterman would have a say in who replaces him on his legendary Late Show series. Hell, you'd think he'd be able to choose his successor. Well, apparently that doesn't seem to be the case, because it's being reported that he was never really consulted on who would be his replacement. A while back, MStars News reported that there were some struggles in the whole Seinfeld-Netflix deal. But finally, it seems they've reached an agreement... with Hulu. Yes, word has it that Seinfeld is going to Hulu for roughly $700,000 an episode. You read that correctly –– $700k per episode. So, it would seem certain to say that creators Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are about to get much, much wealthier. Which is good because we hear they are struggling (cue the eye roll). Anyway, many people speculated that the famed NBC comedy would be going to Netflix, largely because that streaming service purchased Friends for $500k. Jon Stewart had some things to say about CNN coverage about the recent Baltimore riots as a result of the murder of Freddie Gray. Or, perhaps it’s best to say that he had some things to say as a result of CNN’s lack of coverage. Protests are currently raging through the city, making it look all too much like a war zone, and Stewart’s kin over at the Daily Show couldn’t help but notice that CNN decided to cover the White House Correspondents Dinner much, much more than the Baltimore riots. No matter how many times this rumor comes up, we should know by now that we'll never get a Friends reunion that will ever make us happy! Are you hoping for a comeback season? Well, forget about it! Following the horrific earthquake that hit Nepal this past Saturday, it's being reported that nearly 4,000 people have lost their lives with more than 6,500 having been injured. And now, the Red Cross is heading out to provide aid and supplies to the citizens of Nepal in order to try and get through this terrible disaster.
