William Hurt Responds to Sarah Jones' 'Midnight Rider' Death

In the movie that would've been Midnight Rider, actor William Hurt portrayed Gregg Alman. The fate of the movie was sealed after the tragic death of camera assistant Sarah Jones on the set of the project, during a scene that took place on train tracks. Minutes before a train crashed through the film set and killed Jones, Hurt was filmed lying down on the tracks for a dream sequence from director Randall Miller. 'Hannibal' Could Survive On Netflix, Amazon

We're all still reeling from the news that broke earlier this week, announcing that NBC has pulled the plug on Hannibal, which has officially been cancelled in the early stages of season three, but with each passing day we hear rumors of other platforms that can save season four. The series has always suffered from low ratings and viewership, so we understand why the network closed shop on the Lecter series, but we're not ready to accept the end of the entire show. Luckily for us, there are other avenues for new episodes and creator Bryan Fuller says popular streaming services Amazon and Netflix are both interested in giving Hannibal new life. Ariane Labed Replaces Alicia Vikander in 'Assassin's Creed' Movie

News broke earlier this month that Ex Machina breakout star Alicia Vikander had dropped out of the Assassin's Creed movie, starring her real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender, which has a release date set for December 21, 2016. Though we'll surely miss this actress in the film, Fox has already replaced her with the Award-winning starlet Ariane Labed, who will portray a female Assassin in the movie adaptation of the popular Ubisoft video game.
