According to "Fashionista," Moscow has never had programs, funds, scholarships or mentorship for emerging designers like New York and London do. Back in April, Jack and Kate Spade announced they had signed on to partner with GapKids on a limited-edition collection for children, set to hit stores just in time for the holidays. According to the "Los Angeles Times," childrenswear will be a new category for the pair of Spades. The women's line, Kate Spade New York, started with handbags in 1993, while the Jack Spade men's brand followed with satchel and carry-alls in 1996.
