Reports confirm that 37-year-old country songstress Mindy McCready was found dead on Sunday (Feb. 17) of an apparent suicide. NBC Dateline reporter Andrea Canning recently tweeted the unfortunate news that McCready "shot and killed herself earlier this evening." The "Ten Thousand Angels" crooner's brother also confirmed the songstress' suicide to the Daily News. McCready's death comes just a month after her boyfriend David Wilson was found dead on his front porch in Arkansas from a gunshot wound to the head.
