Dark Souls III has a release date set for April 2016, but those interested can get their hands on some early gameplay in October of 2015 thanks to a "Network Stress Test" from developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco. Arguably one of the biggest announcements at the 2015 E3 events earlier this summer came from FromSoftware's Microsoft press conference update revealing Dark Souls III. We learned of the 2016 release date but didn't see any trailers or gameplay demo footage, but that's what Gamescom is for!
