With 2015 approaching, we know one celebrity who's probably glad to see a new clean slate in the new year. "MStars News" has been covering the ups and downs of Phaedra Parks as her marriage comes to an end after her husband, Apollo Nida, was sent back to prison for fraud earlier this year. "MStars News" previously reported that Nida is serving eight years in a Kentucky prison, while Phaedra raises the couple's two sons Dylan and Ayden. It was reported that Parks was ready to file for a divorce from her estranged husband after he began going out before he went to prison. At times it seemed like Nida also wanted to end his marriage after Phaedra was "MIA" during his sentencing, showing no support for her man during his rough time with the law. As time flew by, we learned Phaedra had no intention on taking the boys to see their father while he served time, but earlier this month it appeared Phaedra had a change of heart. We previously reported that Parks was seen coming from the airport as TMZ cameras rolled up on her, asking if she was going to let her two boys see their father for the holidays. "You know what, I would love to," the lawyer and reality star said at the time. She also revealed that she had "sent him a Christmas card and everything ... I speak to him all the time." We guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis has announced that she and her husband Todd Thompson have decided to call it quits on their 11-year marriage and file for divorce. The 44-year-old TV cook and her fashion designer husband have been married since May 2003, but they decided it would be in their best interests if they separated. According to Giada's Facebook page, where she released a statement about the uncoupling, she revealed that despite the hardship they have faced that she and Todd will always be friends. "After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage," the chef explained in her statement that she posted to the social media site. "Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness," the star added, "our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths." According to "Us Weekly," it seems that the pair will always be connected as they continue to raise together their 6-year-old daughter Jade Marie, whom they welcomed to the family in March 2008.
