Rumors now suggest Em will release his highly-anticipated eighth studio record sometime around Labor Day (September 2) - but again, this remains unconfirmed hearsay. Meanwhile, Slim Shady's set to perform a slew of concerts in Europe over the next few weeks (and perhaps even a "surprise" secret performance in NYC on August 7?). While the "Not Afraid" rapper is busy working on his upcoming album, he's also trying to use his renown fame to create some new jobs in his native city of Detroit. Earlier this month, "Believe" crooner Justin Bieber performed a cover of Eminem's hit rap song "Lose Yourself" during a concert in Detroit. Several Slim Shady fans were NOT amused.
