By this point, nearly everyone has had a chance to weigh in on Michael Jackson's daughter Paris and why she attempted to commit suicide early in June. Michael's brother Jermaine, also of the Jackson 5, gave his opinion yesterday in a man-on-the-street interview with TMZ. Michael Jackson's family might be embroiled in a huge lawsuit against concert promoter AEG after the pop star's death, but that doesn't mean that his siblings won't play shows at AEG venues. Jackson's brothers (Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon) will apparently take part in the BET Experience on June 30 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, a venue owned by AEG. Michael's mother Katherine, as well as his children, are currently embroiled in a lawsuit with the company over its alleged responsibility in the vocalist's death. Jermaine Jackson, the older bro of Michael Jackson who still currently tours with his other brothers who originally made up the Jackson 5, is ready for a change - with his ultra-famous surname. Reports confirm that Jermaine hopes to legally alter his last name from Jackson to Jacksun. In a petition filed in L.A. County Superior Court on Wednesday (Nov. 7), Jermaine insists that he only wants to change his name simply for "artistic reasons." Phonetically, the spelling makes no difference.
