Art-rockers the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been steadily releasing new content from their upcoming album Mosquito. "Sacrilege", the first single off of Karen O and Co.'s first album since 2009's dance-poppy It's Blitz, hit the Internet a few weeks back and surprised everyone with its addition of a gospel choir behind the typically sparse and edgy trio. Yeah Yeah Yeahs' first single “Sacrilege” off of the upcoming Mosquito is here and it is downright amazing. Though how could we expect anything else from one of the original pioneering New York indie rock acts? The song was produced by David Andrew Sitek and Nick Launey, has keyboardist Money Mark (longtime Beastie Boys collaborator), and a 24-piece choir. “Sacrilege” expands on singer Karen O’s “psycho opera” Stop the Virgens, recalling drama and melodic grooves.
