Back in 2013, Bruce Springsteen was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year. An event took place to celebrate Springsteen and his career. The Jon Stewart-hosted event consisted of several iconic artists covering a number of songs from the Boss’ catalogue, including Elton John, Neil Young, Jim James and Mumford & Sons. The second annual CBGB Music Festival is happening next month and there will be a special Times Square performance by some huge acts to help close it out. Taking place from October 8 to October 13, this festival will have a free, all-day concert in New York City's Time Square featuring performances by My Morning Jacket, Divine Fits, Grizzly Bear and a DJ set from LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy. Bob Dylan's AmericanaramA Festival of Music Tour is in full swing and earlier this week the legendary performer got some help on "Twelve Gates to the City" from the other singers on the tour. During their stop in Toronto, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and Jim James of My Morning Jacket joined Dylan for the song in what will surely go down in singer-songwriter history as an epic collaboration.
