Earlier this month, director Bryan Singer announced via his Twitter account that the sequel to 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past would be released in 2016. Though this was definitely exciting news for fans of the series, the announcement of X-Men: Apocalypse was reportedly not well received by the cast members who have to work on the film. Writer and director George Miller has been working on Mad Max: Fury Road for quite some time now. The project started filming in 2012 with The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy taking over the iconic role that Mel Gibson championed in the 1980s.
