Earlier this month, "Believe" crooner Justin Bieber performed a cover of Eminem's hit rap song "Lose Yourself" during a concert in Detroit. Several Slim Shady fans were NOT amused. But did fans know that back in 2011, "Red" songstress Taylor Swift also performed an acoustic version of "Lose Yourself?" The country gal's cover received a lot less backlash compared to the Biebs. Readers can watch both clips below and decide which "Lose Yourself" rendition probably pisses Em off the most! Meanwhile details surrounding Shady's highly-anticipated new album still remain unknown... although release date rumors now surround Labor Day (September 2). Read More »

Details surrounding Eminem's highly-anticipated upcoming album still remain a total mystery... although fans are hopping for an early fall release date. Absolutely NO new Slim Shady music has yet to leak online... but the "Not Afraid" rapper still remains one of the "Hottest Summer Superstars" of 2013! (At least according to MTV UK). Maybe it's because recent rumors suggest that Shady was film director Neil Blomkamp's first choice to snag the lead role in his new sci-fi blockbuster, "Elysium." Em turned down the offer, and it was handed off to Matt Damon. But according to the Golden Globe winner, Eminem was "never really any competition." Do Mstars readers agree? Read More »

Absolutely NO new music from Eminem's highly-anticipated 2013 album has yet to leak online... but a rare (and extremely raw) Slim Shady freestyle rap from 1995 recently went viral on the web. The demo track entitled "Biterphobia" was released by the 1990s rap group Soul Intent (Shady, a prominent member of the band, was simply known as "M&M" at the time). One year after the group's release of their the third self-titled EP, Eminem went on to pursue a solo career and released his debut solo album "Infinite" in 1996. Read More »

Meanwhile, details surrounding Slim Shady's new album still remain unconfirmed... although at this point, fans are simply hoping for a fall 2013 release date. Will a worldwide tour soon follow? Who knows! But according to rapper Jay-Z, performing alongside Eminem at Yankee Stadium back during 2010's "Home & Home" tour was a "dream come true." So much talent up onstage with no egos ruining the vibe... must have been a pretty exciting time. Wonder if Shady will join Hov and Justin Timberlake for any surprise "Legends of the Summer" tour guest appearances (ha). Read More »
