Since the death of rapper Eminem's sister-in-law, his esptranged wife Kimberly Mathers seems to be in agony over the death of her 41-year-old twin sister, Dawn Scott. Scott was found by her boyfriend in a trailer with a 92-year-old woman who was laying on a "urine-soaked mattress," according to Warren Mayor Jim Fouts, who has also presumed that Scott's death may have been caused from a heroine overdose. In 2013, hearing a mainstream rapper use the words "gay" or "faggot" as an insult is so rare that, when it does pop up, it's jarring. True, homophobia is still a major problem in the rap community, but most commercially successful spitters have realized that railing against the LGBT community won't do their career any favors. Okay, now I'm geniunely excited. While other snippets of Eminem's new album Marshall Mathers LP 2 have been a bit underwhelming, "Berzerk" lives up to its name with a frenetic, Billy Squier-sampling beat, a genuine, Beasties-reminiscent scratching breakdown and, of course, a pissed off Slim Shady annhilating everything in his path. Not sure where these rumors originated from, but apparently Eminem might release his highly-anticipated new album on Labor Day (September 2, 2013). That's in one month!
