After rumors spread earlier in 2015 that the next Star Trek movie would actually be called Star Trek Beyond instead of Star Trek 3, we've been waiting for an official confirmation from those involved. Simon Pegg, who is co-writing and co-starring in the next sci-fi blockbuster, mentioned the title in a blog post, but hadn't addressed this slip-up since. This week, everyone's favorite nerd, Simon Pegg wrote a long post on his personal blog in order to clear up rumors started from comments he made about "Nerd Culture" and the film industry. His point was that serious movies can't bring in money comparable to box office numbers of superhero flicks, or the like.
