Denise Richards Suing Charlie Sheen for $1.2 Million: Actor Sent Threatening Texts to Kids?

Denise Richards filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband Charlie Sheen for $1.2 million after he kicked her and their daughters out of the home he purchased in a trust for their daughters. The actress claims in legal documents that her kids are afraid of their father. Sheen reportedly sent threatening and offensive texts to their daughters, even allegedly stating he would kill them all.

Sheen evicted Richards from a house he provided her and their two children and she has been paying $15,000 to rent a home.

Things appear to be very tense between Richards and Sheen, with reports claiming their daughters are scared of the actor.

Page Six reports that Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, are uncomfortable being alone with their father after he allegedly sent threatening texts.

A source told the publication the current situation is "volatile", adding, "They’re afraid. They obviously love their dad, but they don’t feel comfortable. Stuff like that doesn’t go away overnight. They don’t want to be alone with him."

Denise is not allowing the former Anger Management star to see the girls unsupervised. 

Sheen, who revealed he is HIV positive last November, allegedly sent his daughters texts calling them and their mother obscene names and threatening to kill them all.

Richards reportedly did not want to live that close to Sheen originally but was worried he was terminally ill. The actor wanted to repair his relationship with his daughters.

US Magazine reports the 50-year-old actor wanted Richards and his daughters to move into a nearby home he had purchased in his Beverly Hills gated community, allegedly promising they would not be evicted. After moving into the home, Sheen began sending texts to the girls and said he would give them their Christmas presents to the homeless.

TMZ reports Charlie texted Lola, who was 8-years-old at the time, "Have a merry Xmas with your loser f*** s**t mom. Your dad is a rock star genius... Your mom is a p**s wart." Sheen also is said to have yelled at Lola, calling her a "f**king pig wh**e" and told her, "I'm going to kill you and your mom."

The actor gave Richards and their daughters the boot in May 2014, while he was engaged to former porn star Brett Rossi. E! News reported at the time that Rossi pushed Sheen to kick them to the curb.

Charlie Sheen's attorney, Marty Singer, told People Magazine that Denise should be satisifed with the money she has already received from the actor.

"Denise Richards is not satisfied that she has received $660,000 tax free each year for almost 10 years," he told People. "It is not enough money for her, besides the approximate $10 million she has received from Charlie under her short marriage."
