The Voice judge Christina Aguilera has a rough patch going on with Blake Shelton's present girlfriend Gwen Stefani and if reports are to be believed then "Genie in a Bottle" singer is trying to team up with Miranda Lambert to win the hearts of her fans.
In 2005, Shelton met Lambert at the CMT's 100 Greatest Duets Concert and according to People, they got married on May 14, 2011, in Texas. However, in July 2015, they both filed for divorce and soon after that, Shelton started dating his colleague from The Voice, Stefani.
Now, it looks like Aguilera will take benefit from this divorce.
Shelton and Stefani are among those couples on The Voice, who loved to display their love for each other in front of their fans and their new romance is a hit at Season 10. Not only this, the 35-year-old Aguilera has made a major comeback in the show and wishes to remain at the top. To do so, she has reportedly patched things with Shelton's ex, Lambert to give the new couple a tough competition.
According to She Knows, Aguilera's feud with Stefani is very much visible on The Voice. The singer is putting up a tough battle with Shelton and Stefani's new blossoming romance. Reportedly, Aguilera is not happy that Stefani has returned to the show and even thinks that she does not have enough talent to guide the new generation of singers. However, there are many awkward instances between Shelton and Lambert, and Aguilera is using this to her advantage.
Mirror UK reported that the producers of The Voice are using Shelton and Stefani's romance to gain the viewership of their show. Well, this is not a good strategy, but it sure is helping the show to get a good TRP.
"Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc," a source said.
