"The Curse of Oak Island" Season 5 remains unconfirmed. Reports are rife that the next season is canceled. In fact, even its creators doubt that the series will be renewed all they know is that they will not be returning.

For those waiting for "The Curse of Oak Island" Season 5, creators revealed that it is not renewed yet. In fact, they are doubtful if the TV series will still continue after its fourth run.

"We are not set to come back for another year, take of that what you will," said Kevin Burns about the future of "The Curse of Oak Island" Season 5. However, if in case, they will be renewed, the creators are ready as there is still too much story to tell.

According to Burns, there is more story to tell beyond "The Curse of Oak Island" Season 4. In fact, he can work a decade on the show as there are still lots of things and treasures to discover and it will still not be enough to convince him that the story is done. "I think Oak Island has many, many, many stories to tell," said Burns per OppTrends.

"The Curse of Oak Island" Season 4 ended with the Lagina brothers finding new big things but not of great importance. Marty and Rick may or may not continue their adventures in another season depending on History Channel.

There are still chances for "The Curse of Oak Island." Per Korea Portal, when season 3 ended there were also rumors that season 4 will not be renewed but it was. Thus, season 5's renewal could be facing the same instance.

The only deal that would break the deal is if the Lagina brothers decline to do "The Curse of Oak Island" Season 5. Filming keeps Rick and Marty away from their families for a couple of months and the pair is not a show people.
