Though the world may still be recovering slightly from Miley Cyrus' controversial twerking performance at the VMAs, the "We Can't Stop" singer is preparing another musical visual for her fans. Yesterday on her highly active Twitter account, Cyrus announced that a music video for her second "Bangerz" single "Wrecking Ball" is on its way. Soon. The official visual for the track is coming to VEVO on Monday (Sept. 9).
Cyrus announced the coming of "Wrecking Ball" simply with a tweet at 5:32 p.m. yesterday, writing simply "#WreckingBall #comingMonday #VEVO" alongside a screencap of the music video.
The simple image shows the blonde pixie cut wearing star sitting on top of a wrecking ball (fittingly). Stylistically, her outfit appears similar to "We Can't Stop." Cyrus is wearing a two-piece short white outfit and maroon combat boots.

"Wrecking Ball" is the second single from Cyrus' upcoming album "Bangerz." A more subdued rock-influence ballad, Cyrus blasts through the emotional lyrics about a relationship that has crumbled to pieces. Musically and lyrically, "Wrecking Ball" is a more mature and interesting track than "We Can't Stop."
Nothing in particular is known about the clip for "Wrecking Ball," but it's hard to imagine Cyrus twerking to the mid-tempo track.
Without the help of a visual component or a ton of promotion from Cyrus herself, "Wrecking Ball" has already fared quite well. The song currently sits at No. 10 on the iTunes singles chart and at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100.
