Whovians worldwide have been waiting for months for an official trailer for BBC's Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor," and this week we were finally treated to one! There is a catch of course: this trailer does not show any knew footage of the upcoming 75-minute long episode, airing simultaneously worldwide on November 23. That said, this preview is still incredibly enthralling and definitely should serve as a great filler trailer before we actually watch the special episode.
This new trailer features all of the regenerations of the Doctor as well as a handful of certain enemies and companions from the last 50 years of being on the air. We hear Matt Smith's voice over the brief scenes from the past, all of this leading up to him announcing the name of the special. It's really quite compelling!
Though there isn't any new footage to talk about and gawk over, the latest trailer is still a treat fro Doctor Who fans anticipating this new episode.
