Ten years ago we all said farewell to one of the most beloved sitcoms of all times when NBC's Friends aired its series finale on May 6, 2004. While some are using this ten-year anniversary to celebrate the iconic series, others are wondering about a possible reunion. This series is no stranger to reunion and comeback rumors, so we're not going to jump to any conclusions just yet. It would be fun though!
Check out our original story from last year, reporting on one of the biggest reunion rumors ever!
We'll start by taking a recent interview from Mat LeBlanc, who portrayed Joey Tribbiani on Friends, to dispel any comeback rumors right away.
"As far as I know, I spoke to [producer] David [Crane] about it, it's the case of 'the books better than the movie,'" the Episodes star explained this week. "That show was about a finite period of time in life, after college and before your relationship and family starts and where your friends are your support system and that's what the magic of the show was, everyone goes through that and can relate to that."
He added: "No one wants to see Chandler at his kid's soccer game talking to other people. It was those characters in a room relying on each other and past that it's not the same environment so I don't see it happening."
Meanwhile, Courteney Cox last month denied any reunion rumors while appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman. Read more on this HERE!
