The second match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup takes place today when Mexico goes up against Cameroon in another Group A game. Yesterday's opening match between home team Brazil and Croatia ended in a victory for the hosts in an exciting event. With today's match, are you hoping Mexico defeats the African team or do you want to see Cameroon come out victorious?
"I know that all of my players are going to leave their soul on the pitch to achieve a result," Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera said. "We are ready to go out and win. This is a very important game for us, key to our aspirations to progress to the next round. We know it's not going to be easy but we are going to work very hard to beat Cameroon."
Meanwhile, Cameroon's coach Volker Finke also thinks the game will be hard, but not impossible.
"We know that (Mexico) had a lot of problems in qualifying and that it was difficult," Finke said. "However, they are a very dangerous team, with an intense spirit. I can see that it is a difficult team but one that can be beaten."
Who do you think will pull through in this opening match? Will Cameroon see victory or will Mexico ensure their country's happiness by defeating their opponents?
